Will it suck? A lot of criticism towards Ms. "I rebel".

I have hopes for it, More than i did for Episode 7. That could also be that i just prefer the GCW Era and didn't really agree with the destruction of the Extended Universe

I'm also sad for the dissolution of the Expanded Universe, but I'm happier than a nerf in karrabast that Grand Admiral Thrawn is back in Rebels!  I have a few misgivings about Ms. "I Rebel" too... but I'm definitely still gonna go see it.

i hope they at least acknowledge the bothans role in acquiring the plans, since the movies are all canon and Mon Mothma mentioned them in A New Hope

Wait....Rogue One AND SB release in the same week?? Guess I'll be using vacation time this year after all xD

It would be cool if Rogue One is a little less Disney-ish and more along the lines of a serious plot inspired from the books, but one can only hope..

EDIT- ESPECIALLY if someone like Donnie Yen is in it.. I feel the movie will be good just because IP Man is in it.

Ya, I'm stoked for Donnie Yen too - both Ip Man movies (Ip Men? Ip Man-s? Inquiring minds want to know :p) were pretty killer.

Actually that was in Return of the Jedi. Mon Mothma wasn't in Star Wars till episode VI. So it was for the second death star :p

I finally saw this a couple months back, and I have to say that I was surprised there could still be a good Star Wars film made.  It wasn't amazing but I do think it was solid.

I'm not hopeful though.  I have no desire to see a Han Solo anthology and with an unsalvageable sequel trilogy, I'd say Star Wars is in severe decline.  Sad, because R1 proves it has the potential to deliver.
