Server Development

Issues to be fixed prior Live Server
  • Bazaar items cannot be bought anymore after server restart. This does not affect vendors.
  • Vendors disappear with an "inactive message", although items are being sold.
  • Decayed structures do not return lots after being destroyed by decay.
  • Creating a patcher for our local client fixes (currently internal testing)
  • Security Considerations
Medium Priority
  • Ongoing Bugfixes
  • Setup GM Permissions for Volunteer Use
    • Create GM Log API for Frontend
Web Development

Issues to be fixed prior Live Server
  • Nested Accounts/Multiple IP detection. We all like to have multiple characters online.
  • Alter mail server of the login frontend, so everyone receives their registration mail.
Medium Priority
  • Extend Functionality of Login Frontend
    • Include Public GM Log
    • Separate GM and Bugreport tickets, include Ban Appeals
    • Add QA usergroup + functionality
    • Extend tickets/page to 20 or more
Project Development

Medium Priority
  • Instruct Volunteers and setup Mantis
  • Create Workflow for QA

Still working on the list. As this is a hobby project, we can't work on it full time. Some of the things (accounts/security considerations/patcher) are currently internally tested but not yet released.

I will help with any thing I find. I'm grinding all of my characters right now as well as a crafter. Keep the great work going, and don't feel rushed. This project was a collective idea to make it the best experience possible for everyone involved, and that takes time and faithfulness. A good harvest takes time, and I believe everyone will reap a good harvest if you guys take your time and do it the way you want. You guys are doing great!

From when Invite Only testing began to now, the progress has been astounding. While I am anxious for a live server (as are all), I'm happy with it being done right rather than rushed and being bugged or crashing constantly. Many kudos to the staff for their hard work, determination, and extreme patience with the community that can be demanding or trying at times.
